# DFP2 Token

DFP2 is the governance token of DefiPlaza. It is used to make governance decisions on the future of the DefiPlaza project.

DFP2 exists on both Ethereum and Radix and is connected via the [DFP2 Bridge](https://bridge.defiplaza.net)

### Utility

Holders of DFP2 can participate in the DefiPlaza DAO by voting on or creating new governance votes.&#x20;

On Radix, DFP2 is used as the internal LP token for each pair, meaning that each token is paired against DFP2 as the quote token.&#x20;

### Tokenomics

DFP2 has a total supply of 67.941.915 tokens, and all tokens are in circulation since October 2022. No tokens are currently locked since the team's vesting ended in October 2022 as well.
